Co-Creation : July 2026 NewsletterDear Reader, I hope this finds you well and enjoying the fullness of summer. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who joined our monthly gathering. Last month, we explored the living power of Ayni—sacred reciprocity—and how coming into right relationship with ourselves, one another, and the living world can open and illuminate our path. Here is the prayer altar we co-created together. Tending the altar daily with prayers, rattling and song has been a potent practice. As I reflected on our time together, I was struck by how beautifully the many facets of Ayni lead us into our next exploration. Co-Creating with CreatorI love the words create and creativity. Simply speaking them aloud feels regenerative. Those who have studied Shamanic Mentorship or completed Mesa Munay with me have heard me say that Mesa work is relational work. It is a living expression of Munay—love, will, and liberation—and of Ayni as it ripples into every aspect of our lives. When we enter into sacred reciprocity with our visions, dreams, relationships, and even our own inhale and exhale, we step into Kausay Pacha—the living current of life. This refined current of Sami, Ayni, and Kausay invites us to remember ourselves as creative beings, continually co-creating with Creator. Grief and GratitudeOne of the greatest teachings Ayni has offered me this year is that, in order to restore balance and thrive, I first needed to lovingly close certain cycles before consciously opening new ones. For twenty-eight years, I have had the privilege of touching hundreds—likely thousands—of lives through many healing modalities, most notably Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. Over the past decade here in Nelson, my work has continued to evolve. Increasingly, it has revealed the shamanic foundations that have quietly guided me since my early teens and have deepened through my studies in Peruvian cosmologies, the Star Diamond lineage, and the Lineage of Light. Although I deeply loved my downtown sanctuary and the table work that shaped so much of my practice, Spirit had other plans. What began as gentle whispers became unmistakable invitations, carried through my own health initiation, to slow down, listen more deeply, and allow a new way of serving to emerge. It has been profoundly humbling. After twenty-eight years of hands-on work, my body is asking for something different. Rather than seeing this as an ending, I now recognize it as a refinement. The years I have spent listening to bodies, mapping ancestral rivers, and perceiving the intelligence of the energy field have prepared me for a more subtle way of working—one that places less demand on my own body while continuing to support healing, trauma integration, nervous system regulation, and the awakening of each person’s innate intelligence. With love, grief, and immense gratitude, I have closed my downtown office and opened a new sanctuary in my home studio. From this space, I will continue to offer:
In the Andean tradition, Father Time and the masculine energy of the Sun help us complete and close our cycles. Through the regenerative womb of Pachamama and the sacred feminine, something entirely new can be born. After many months of physical, emotional, spiritual, and soul-level initiation, I can feel a golden seed awakening within me—a new opportunity to flourish, deepen, and continue discovering what it means to create in conscious relationship with Creator. Coming This Fall
More details will be shared soon. Retreat Invitation: The Stars WithinI am also honored to share an upcoming retreat offering: The Stars Within This retreat is hosted through For-rest Retreats and offers a beautiful opportunity for women’s heart medicine, restoration, ceremony, and connection.
May we have the courage to lovingly close what has been completed, the patience to rest in the fertile mystery, and the trust to welcome what is quietly waiting to be born. May your days be guided by Ayni, your heart steadied by Munay, and your path illuminated by the quiet knowing that Creator is always creating through you. With Love and Gratitude, Summer Hours and OfferingsI am having very limited hours during July and August off so that I may cherish this last summer with my kids before they head to university. During this sabbatical, I am reconfiguring my offerings, but continue to offer one-on-one work from my home studio.
